Twenty Years Ago Today...

... and about 13 hours ago from this moment, I was 12-going-on-13, sitting in a chair in a hospital room, finishing a Sweet Valley Twins book, waiting for my brother to arrive. I was lucky to be there when he was born.

And I am still lucky to have him for a brother. He's a lot taller than I am now, but I'm still proud to be his big sister. Happy Birthday, Vinnie.

Oh my goodness - I remember Barbie calling me to tell me about hima few days after his birth. A few months later, I found myself pregnant and I think Gillian was conceived the day Vince was born which made it all the more special! Of course, I remember you when you were only a few years old - one of the cutest little girls I have ever seen - and you haven't changed!

I had to come back the photos were taking so long to load - that I missed some of them - and they're wonderful. That first photo is especially adorable - but how fun to see the photos roll forward in time - like a nature movie where a seed opens and grows taller and taller till it blooms...How fun!
